Bert Burger comenzó hace unos 30 años fabricando su primera tabla de surf, dedicando incontables horas a experimentar con distintos materiales y desarrollando una tecnología completamente diferente, revolucionaria y ágil. Este trabajo alcanzó su punto culminante junto a Nev Hyman al crear Firewire Surfboards, llevando sus innovaciones al mercado principal del surf.
Posteriormente, Bert regresó a Sunova, ahora respaldado por Martin Jandke y Klaus Christian Mueller. Con años de experiencia en fabricación, I+D y ventas en Cobra International Co., aplican metodologías de manufactura LEAN (también conocidas como TPS - Sistema de Producción Toyota). Esta filosofía impulsa la mentalidad profesional de ambos, complementada con la amplia trayectoria de Klaus en la industria automotriz para fabricar las mejores tablas de foil del mercado.
